fibula contusion -.-

Actually my leg really hurts, so I decided to visit a doctor....
After that, I wasn´t that amused...
Compulsory break for the next days because I´ve got a contusion of my fibula.
A couple of days ago I wanted to do a doubledrop, first time it went pretty well, second time unfortunately not.
I´ve lost both skis, and I nearly wasn´t able to drive home, so probably the downhill race wasn´t a good idea, but who cares.
So I guess I´ll sit more at home or in coffebars for the next week.
You need to see the positive aspects, now I can meet up with my friends at home more often,
and a little bit more chilling from time to time isn´t that bad either ;)

Living Room Downhill

After a spontanious decision I´ve competed in the Living Room Downhill Race which was located in Mühlbach, near Salzburg..
It was my first chinese downhill so I had no plan what´s going on...
I´ve got there in the morning, and we directly started with the first run, which wasn´t that easy, because of some technical parts, and  a huge wood, where we had to find our way through.
It doesn´t worked that bad for me and I was at the second place.
Second run was just a straight line, which was actually better for me :)
From a failed doubledrop two days ago, my leg really hurts and I had no chance for the first place.
In the end I finished second, which was satisfying for me, especially for my first dowhill race.

1. girls ski day

It was awesome today!! just girls :D
Me and two friends of mine went skiing at a glacier in the salzburg area.

It was the first girls ski day for everyone of us, so it was kind of something special :)

We had great weather and the snow conditions were good as well :)

Back home again now

After some days hanging around in Munich, the guys went home and I was visiting some other friends in Germany before I also went home.
I had a really great time,

skiing in Val Gardena, Italy

Because of the bad snow conditions in Salzburg I decided to head over to Italy for some skiing.
Actually the snow here is much better, and we´ve got sunshine the whole day, some really nice skiing and much fun :)
Just a little tipp, if you come here for off-piste skiing, watch out, cause if they catch you,
the can fine you, which will cost you a lot of money, so if somebody is shouting behind you, ski faster!! ;)
Pizza, Pasta and Vino are pretty good, I could really stay longer, but the guys from Moment skis,
who I hang out with, are going back home soon.

skitesting @ Hintertux, Austria

Some Skicompanies invited me to test their new freeride-collection at the glacier in Hintertux, Tirol.

I met up with the guys from Moment Skis the day before, we went sledding and had a lot of fun partying at Tux..

Excepted the reason of less snow the testing went quite well, I was testing skis from MOMENT (with Luke, Ben and Chasey), SKI LOGIK and BLACK CROWS (with Bruno Compagnet and James). Their skis are awesome! I probably should ski a Black Crows or Moment ski ;) need to think about that

pretty successfully @ ISPO

Omg it´s awesome here, now it´s the 4 and last day of ISPO and in the beginning I just wanted to stay for one or probably two days... hmm now it´s a little bit longer, but it was great!!
I´ve met so many new people, seen so many different brands, just awesome, and I finally got a new sponsor
RATRAX is a new brand from Germany, the guys are making great lifestyle clothes!! thanks on this way!!

The Salewa-stand was huge, and they had so much great food :) yummy
At the whole ISPO, free coffee, drinks and beer for 4 days... haha the fun was predicted, and the parties haven´t been that bad as well ;)

Some ski-brands invited me to test their skis in Hintertux coming weekend,
so cya there!

1 rock climbing session in 2011

man, it was soo much fun, good old homespot...

it was a little bit dangerous, because huge icicles were falling down the whole time
so we just did some easy stuff, but it was really nice being there again :)
looking forward to some good climbing sessions in the summer!!
